Saijin's Journey Begins is the first book in a series of
inspiring stories for youth, ages 8-12.
Saijin is a young girl with a curious
mind, seeking for understanding and watchful of signs. Inspired by the mentors
in her life--her schoolteacher, her mother, and the neighborhood librarian,
Saijin is on a quest to find out what is special about the owl.
In The Owl and
The Buddha, her journey begins with a dutiful search for knowledge and ends
with the wonder and magic of wisdom found. Travel along with Saijin and learn
for yourself why the owl is a symbol of wisdom. This delightful story touches
that part of the human spirit that inspires us all to dig beneath the surface,
stretch a little further, try a little harder and look a little deeper as we
live our lives.
